A Passion for Storytelling

I've always had a romantic story in my head for as long as I can remember. Like a never ending movie. Everything else was an interruption: School. Meals. Socializing. I'd want to go back to somewhere quiet so the characters could resume whatever they were doing.

And then I'd make up imaginary characters in my everyday life and flesh out their personalities.

And then I discovered novels. I won't say when exactly but it was waaay earlier than I should have. Needless to say, they consumed me. I didn't need to create characters anymore, I could just read about them! I'd say this is where I learned to write without knowing I was learning.

Next. Reading wasn't enough. 

I wanted to write.

It's hard. Somedays it feels like the stories are unspooling. Other days the parts come together. It's a lot of sleepless  nights and blank pages.

But it's the most fulfilling journey I've ever taken
